My First Raised Garden - 2022
In 2022, I experienced my first rental living situation in 15 years, which meant I couldn't dig the ground. Instead, I built my very first raised garden beds and filled them with quality soil. This experience taught me a lot, particularly that my plants flourished and thrived in that soil!

My First Garden - 2010
This was the first garden I designed on my own. Though small, it was simple to care for as I learned how to enhance it for the following year.

2nd Year Garden - 2011
In my second garden, I created a version of the flood garden that my father always made, where you plant on a and flood the rows in between. However, I realized that this method consumed too much water, and I should have used straw in the to retain moisture.

4th Year Garden - 2013
In my fourth year, I created a watering system by connecting a soaker hose to the timer on my sprinklers, making the watering process much easier. In previous years, I faced issues with heat reflecting off the block, so I planted corn along that area to help prevent heat buildup.
